I have mixed feelings about voting by mail. I like the convenience, and went on permanent absentee ballot status after being out of the state, two Election Days in a row. I’ll probably want to vote absentee if my bone marrow transplant falls late enough in the year. But Carter and Baker raise some weighty points.
