I first encountered this song on an album titled “Sing a Song of Sickness”. Other songs on the album were “50 Million Commies Can’t Be Wrong” and “Bring Back Those Guillotine Days”. At the time, back in the 1970s, it was all in fun.
In a slightly related note, a friend told me of someone working in Japan who tried out on the secretary some insults he had found in the book Japanese in Action.
They work very well.
But they weren’t real to him, so he didn’t get it — at first.
